Replaced clock spring.. blinker won't shut off & all ACD lights on.

I replaced my clock spring due to breaking the last one, I have also recently replaced the pieces you insert into the JDM headlight housings. (pretty sure its unrelated)

The next morning after replacing my clock spring, my turn signal doesn't shut off automatically anymore. I have to do it myself every single time, also my 3 ACD lights keep lighting up all together, then it'll go to the usual 1 light, then all 3 again. Changes completely randomly.

Not sure what to do here. Only thing that was changed electrically was the horn and airbag was plugged in, it wasn't before.

anyone who has any idea please let me know, thanks!

Did have the steering column off the rack? It sounds like you let the column spin while you had it out of the car, and it's not in the correct position..

Not sure how to check that, all i did was take the steering wheel off, unbolt the lower piece, seperate the 2 plastic covers, place the new clock spring onto the large spring and put it back together

Then you put something back together wrong. That's the only explanation for the turn signals not turning off. And I think the steering angle sensor is in the column, which could explain why your ACD lights are flashing at you..

If thye don't shut off no longer how far back the other way you return the wheel, something wasn't reinstalled correctly..

I know, i'm trying to get advice as to what this could be caused by.

With the wiring disconnected my ACD lights all came on today again, shut off a few minutes later.

Its clear to me that something isn't right back there. You had no issues. Then you took the column apart (partially or completetly, whatever), and now your ACD is pissed, and turn signals don't auto-off. A sensor for the ACD (steering angle sensor), and the turn signal bits are in the area you were working on. Something was done/put back together wrong.
