BOV Spring jammed?

So Ive been trying to adjust my BOV (Old school Greddy Type R), as I thought I heard a bit of surge at full boost. I loosened the spring up but now that Ive adjusted it Ive lost 8lbs of boost and no matter how tight I go, Im still down 8lbs. Is it possible I over loosed the spring to cause it to jam?

Nope, the spring is probably broken and the BOV is leaking. OR there is another leak on the diaphragm perhaps.

Run a boost leak test, but its most likely the diaphragm. All Greddy's I've had the diaphragm ends up breaking apart.
