Oil filter housing problem

ok well today I hit a huge pothole that I didn't see and it ripped my oil filter off and broke the fitting it screws on to in half. My question is can I just change the fitting or if it has to be the entire filter housing. My other question is does anyone know of any place near destin Florida that will carry a part like that or a place I can order from and get it by Monday or Tuesday?

You need the whole housing. Order from ExtremePSI or MAP and overnight if a local dealer can't get it.

Dang. How low is your car? You may want to use the shorter (Mobil1) filter next time.

My car is stock height but the dang pot hole was the pothole from hell and I didn't even see it. It swallowed my entire tire and there was no way from not hitting filter.
