What bumper Rust problem?

What bumper rust problem are you talking about? This concerns me because I live in Hawaii and I wash my car every weekend cuz I dont have a car port or garage to house my EVO. I should get a kick *** car cover though....Anyways any information on this bumper rust problem would be greatly appreciated. Anyone in Hawaii have this issue? Thanks. God bless And Godspeed for the Evo MR to get here to the states

The bumper rust problem I speak of was first discovered by Alfriedsq way back in September. The part where the bumper meets the bumper brace must not have dryed properly when it was put together. Thus, the exposed metal began to corrode pretty quickly. A number of Evolutionm.net members confirmed they have the same problem and it's definitely worth a look. If you crawl under your bumper right where the tail pipe is, you can actually see the orange like color of rust forming (that is if you have the rust). I checked it myself and was one of the unlucky ones.

Anyways, heres the link to the thread. Good luck

Stop trying to be delicate. Just grab ahold of the lense and yank. If you pull the lense out straight, you will not damage anything.

they only take about 5 minutes to change lights or even remove, the one that was a bit difficult getting to come out was the very last pin on the corner , were all it required a flat service item like a hammer (example ) dont freak out !!! LOL
and push it slowly till it pops out < very easy .....
glad you got them out ..
