Timing Belt: Time Interval?

So I may be called an idiot for even asking this question, but a few weeks ago I realized that the timing belt replacement interval is 60,000 miles / 5 years. Up until then I wasn't even thinking about maintenance like this because my car only has 41,000 miles on it.

Should I get the timing belt replaced immediately?

I would. When I bought my car with 11k miles in 2013, the nearly 9 year old timing belt was showing its age when I changed it. Specifically, it didn't feel as "rubbery" as the new one, if that makes any sense. It was also less flexible. With the mileage being low, you just need the belt and I would replace the hydraulic auto-tensioner. All the pulleys should be fine.

Did you get a shop to do it? How much do you think it would cost with labor + the parts you mentioned?

Between 400-600 depending on the area you live in. Another 200-400 in parts, depending if you want to get new pulleys
