mate it could be alot worse, written car off and you in hospital full time - think of it as another lifes pain in the butts but you will get through it

Yea, that is tough. Either way, they are going to say you are following too close and should have time to react. Anyways your car is easily fixable. Going to need a new hood and probably front bumper too. If your crash beam absorbed the impact as it should, your intercooler and stuff should be fine. Based on the pics, that is all I can tell. Might be more when you start taking the car apart. Hopefully it's not too bad! Best of luck!

Car looks repairable, I'd let your insurance handle everything, suing someone is rarely worth the time and money, unless of course, you're seriously injured. Good luck, glad it sounds like you're okay.
