Jdm EVO bumper on EVO 9

What's going on, I was curious if my Buschur exhaust will work if I decide to go with a jdm EVO bumper?

You will need to shorten the exhaust a few inches, otherwise it looks kinda funny.

I dont think so because then you'd be moving the mounting hooks back rendering them useless

It has to be cut between the mount tab and muffler

Sorry to thread jack, but my Turbo XS is supposed to fit pretty well according to the jdm bumper exhaust thread. The canister is touching the bumper though. Anyone know what I could do? I dont see a way to adjust the exhaust really

Get an exhaust shop to cut/weld the exhaust to fit.

This should help you.

I have the Blitz exhaust and it sits quite well. I was going to have a shop shorten it but it looks fine. Just a little poke.

I have a Perrin stealth catback with the USDM bumper, and it comes with a 3-4" extender dealie. So it may work with the JDM bumper.

Usually. Depends on how the muffler sits.

Its pretty easy to fix I just did it. Cut on where the slip joint is ( exhaust pipe side toward the front of the car) Get a regular muffler clamp. You can actually slide the muffler side inside the part you cut off and use the regular clamp to attach them together. Then attach a new generic hanger. They make them that only require a exhaust clamp to attach around the exhaust between the muffler and tip. you can use your original mounting bolts. Any auto parts store should have everything. just get under there and start messing with it and you will figure it out. After doing mine like this it was solid but for peace of mind I welded where my clamps where to make sure it wasn't going to move.

It'll work, but will stick out a bit. My buschur bullet exhaust stuck out a couple inches past my jdm rear and worked percectly until I bought the buschur sd muffler made for the jdm rear
