What's going on guys I'm new to the evo forums but not new in the evo world, I currently have a evo 8 for about 3 years now and a year ago I spun a rod bearing 😪 so long story short fully built it still on stock 9 turbo making 430 awhp @28psi of course with supporting mods, but this winter going to go with an fp black to push me over the 500awhp barrier 😁 looking forward with talking to you guys

surprised you went that long w/out being on here. It's where everything evo is located. Miss my BBY. That's some killer power on a IX turbo. Ethanol? I made 390/410 on E with the IX turbo I had and I thought mine was crazy haha. Anywho, welcome.

I would skip on the Black myself, you should be able to break 500whp with a FP red. Is the motor still a 2.0L?

Also your pictures reminded me I want to powder coat my Enkeis white

 

Yea I'm actually leaning towards the red now I think the black will have more lag to it and yea the enkies white in blue looks awesome

Yeah you should definitely be able to break 500 with a red. I keep a spreadsheet with all sorts of numbers I've gathered from the internets and there is a Stock block FP Red that put down 573whp on E85.

 

Damn nice well every now and then someone will get a freak evo with stock internals that will hold that power 500 is my goal though any more where I live is useless lol in Ct the cops are crazy
