Here is why, with the Innovate you can adjust the linear scaling of the 5v sensor voltages with the LM programmer program to match the same scaling in your logging software. Makes it 100% accurate. You cant do that with the AEM UEGO. What ever it spits out is what you get. Depending how you wire it, it's most likely not going to be accurate. The frequent calibration for accuracy is a good thing..
If Evoscan is used as the logging program you can scale the output of the UEGO if you need to by changing the xml file. The real question is why would you need to do it? If you read the output from the UEGO in something like HyperTerminal it's already coming back with the same data as visually seen on the gauge so there's no need to scale it again and by default the wideband setting in EvoScan for AEM takes the value without any scaling. The UEGO has been proven to accurate enough for most folks who have used it. I've had mine for 8 years now on the VIII and bought one for the X just last year.
