Headroom, three times the power of the miata it replaced.
Seats for more than two (or a set of wheels) are nice too.
Downsides are absolutely atrocious gas mileage and teenage boys eyeing my car at stoplights.
Serious face, I feel like mitsu had to have gone out of their way to yield sub 20 highway MPGs.

It amazes me that a relatively heavy car as the Evo (~3000lbs) has such good steering. This is what sold me initially.

The evolution is my outlet, there's no silly jdm decals, no airplane spoiler, no body kits, no stanced negative 45 on it and wonder why you buy so many tires, no chasing dyno numbers then part it out cause u broke, just a stock location fp red BB that runs low 11s on true street tires. It's like that OTHER girl that you say u just friends but u are whipped. When I drive the evo all the stress in life go away, work, bills , and family. If u don't have an outlet get one, life is too short have fun.

I am new to the forum do not know if I'll introduce myself before q (I found paragraph) but answering the question XD. for me it is everything that means an Evo, traction, power good look that it has and exclusive that is at least in my country and now that I have is they are only 3 those in my country but is a beautiful car talking about his body and his mechanics and now that most of their history would choose it as the car of my dreams, lol, greetings friends

four doors
looks amazing in white
comes stock with more high-performance parts than most people put on their cars in a lifetime.
it accelerates, brakes, and turns better than cars that cost MUCH more.
long list of accomplishments in motorsports that gives me motivation.

that "airplane spoiler" comes in handy for those of us that like to go fast while turning

debadged, wingless, pulling away from confused rental exotics who are thinking they must be pushing the pedal wrong or something

There are some YouTube videos of this. Unless the Ferrari was sand bagging it's pretty funny considering one shows two passengers in the Evo as well.

It's raw.
It's turbocharged.
It has Recaros.

I daily mine, I'd say on average 20 miles/day.
I have to try if I want to make a full tank last a week.

The versatility that the Evo platform brings to the table is unlike any other car I have owned. The smiles per gallon and true raw feeling is something that manufacturers are STRUGGLING to deliver to enthusiast with today's cars. The only time I get more excited and anxious to drive something other than my Evo, is my close friends 911 GT3. However, even though the 911 will be my next car, I can't see anything replacing my IX in the garage, the 911 will most definitely be parked next to the Evo.

I ask myself and sometimes I ask my wife too, would I be able use a (insert desired car here) if I had to relocate to a part of the country with horrible weather conditions? Or if something happened and it was the only car I had, can it be used equally or more than the Evo? Kids, HP/dollar, groceries, track days, excitement, road trips, weather and investment value.. It checks every damn box on my list.
