For me it's the boost. However when I first test drove my car it was the steering and brakes that made me go nuts.

For others it could be modding it, show and shine, wheels, hot import nights. Whatever.

IMO it's the best car in the world. NO OTHER car can do what a Evo can. Name me another car that is practical, affordable, a good daily driver, can be a awesome auto-X car, road course car, time attack car, rally car, or drag car. It's fun to drive, cheap to mod, and easy to work on. People will always notice it whether they love it or hate it. It came so well prepped from the factory. Brembos brakes, recaro seats, Momo steering wheel, bilstein shocks, BBS/Enkei wheels. It had it all.

X2 on all of this. I love that the car will do literally whatever you want it to do.

Easy to modify and get good results (to me that is the key) with solid base car and motorsports background

My friends bought more expensive cars (STi, BRZ, 335xi) and they all have to deal with my Evo whooping their butt in races haha.
It's such a fun car for Colorado. Mountain roads, canyons, gravel, snow, it just does it all and does it well.

In the beginning it was the history of the car and the potential to make power easy with the proven track record of the 4g63. Now, its the same reasons as before, plus the car is no longer in production and will go down as one of the all time greatest cars in Japanese automotive history.

First time I rode in an Evo I feel in love with the fact that the salesperson took a 90 degree turn around 45-50 into a parking lot without hesitating. The steering was unlike anything else I had driven at the time.

Now what I love about it is the fact that I don't worry about any weather at anytime and the Evo can go and do anything that I ask of it. Super comfortable as a daily driver, amazing looks, the boost oh the boost is like a drug that I am so addicted to now that I can't imagine not having it (came from NA Mustangs with the same power level). Four doors so I can actually take people with me, and the list can go on and on....

I fell in love back in middle school. 2003 when the first Evo hit the states I saw it in import tuner.
Wanted one since then and bought my 03 at 18.

The first one I ever rode in was a 06 MR. The car took a off ramp at 90 where any other car would start to feel tail happy at 40. It was just the most incredible thing.

I think my favorite part of my Evo is the way it looks. For being an 2003 it doesn't at all look outdated. I have had many people that were shocked to know how old it is. They always think its a new kind of car.

The versatility, reliability, AWD and stout engine. Great bang for buck all around.

Everything but mostly installing something new and just driving it with the windows down. Sometimes I just open the garage door to look at it. I like how fast it can become with just bolt ons !

4G63.. along with everything mentioned above.

When I first moved to Dubai, I really wanted an eclipse like I had back in Montreal but only the GST was available. It took me a while to find her but when I did, it was love at first sight. Now a 2.3L, and a 6466 + E85, my heart drops at every WOT.
