What is it that you like about your Evo?
always wanted a evo since my old neighbor had a yellow 8, fell in love with them since I was probably 14...now 25 I finally bought one (9 06 ix se tarmac black). I would have to say my favorite thing about the car is the looks people give me when ever I drive it that know what the car is...that and the suede and leather seats.
the evo really is a great car and its hard to beat the performance without spending 5x the price
steering feel
recaros
brembos
traction
ive had quite a few cars since my first evo ... 2015m3, 2011 s4, s2000, tsx, 335i, sti to name a couple and its really hard to beat the evo for anything under 80grand

I just bought an e92 m3 with exhaust, intake and tune. Though it's really nice and putting down more whp than my Evo at the moment, the Evo is still more fun to drive. The feeling of boost hitting you never gets old
I like the fact that it was right at the cut-off of when technology more for comfort/safety got plastered all over cars... no intrusive traction control, no different throttle modes (your foot should be able to do that), no curtain airbags (knock on wood that the lack of them never puts me in any danger), no tire pressure monitoring system (checking it manually on a routine basis is fine). It's a lot purer of a driving experience.
Owning both an STi and Evo i do have to say that my Evo is a lot more fun to drive due to the mass power you can make out of the 4g63 while my STi is meant more for daily driving but not going to lie i love both of them
The complete confidence & trust I have in the car when I fly thru corners on my favorite twisty mountain roads. At speeds I could've only wished of with previous cars, the evo just laughs and begs me to push it further.
I like that its a practical 4-door car with a usable boot that I can take on road-trips yet still have fun with her.
If only it had the performance of F1 car (the acceleration, deceleration & aerodynamic downforce those things have is ridiculous!).. but hey, for the price I paid its as close as ill get.

four doors, transports five people in a pinch; four people comfortably, plenty of power, handles great, looks awesome, relatively cheap parts, easy to work on.
best bang for the buck, for those of us that like to ***** out our cars at the track.

Twelve years of ownership last January and driven every day. In that time I've had to replace a couple of batteries, brakes once, clutch once and recently I put in a new radiator just because the old one shouldn't last that long. When I check fluids its full, full, full and full. I used to carry a cell phone when travelling but why? If I didn't own a Subaru my tools would mostly sit idle. That is how to make a car.
