Man that's a lot of rust in there is that car from the beach or something?

I could be crazy..but since the catch can is being routed back to the intake should it have the breather on there? Typically if its routed to the intake there isn't a breather right?

The way its setup right now, it is not as efficient as it could be. I doubt there are negative effects from it right now, it's just not pulling as much vacuum through the intake.

I have my PCV valve connected to the driver side port on the valve cover. I installed the STM -10an fitting on the back of the valve cover to a VTA catchan. No issues.
For now, focus on getting the plugs done and troubleshooting the no start issue.

Lol it's really not that bad, just the motor mount. The car overall is in pretty good shape, but I live in Columbus, Ohio, so it's seen winter.

I like that- I may switch up the routing later, but to your point, I have to focus on getting this thing running at all before I focus on optimal efficiency, ha.

If you get your plugs from the local auto parts store, make sure you know what you want. A local guy ended up buying totally wrong plugs because they "recommended" them. Needles to say, his car ran like poo poo until we swapped the plugs for some Br7es plugs I had in the garage.

I ordered BPR8ES - they should be here today. Since I'm running 28 psi I figured the colder would be better.

I know you have all been anxiously awaiting what happened (kidding).

I redid the lines and put new plugs in- runs like a dream....a dream that is extremely pig rich.

It is scheduled for a tune at SlowMotion motorsports- one of the top Evo places in the US (I believe they have one of the faster Evo's in the world too) on the 30th. After that, E-85 we go and they're going to retune it for a great price.

I'll let everyone know how it goes!

Car was tuned today by SlowMotion- it put down 340/356 @22 psi. I had them go conservative because I messed up and had 91 in it and it was a month or two old. It's irrelevant because it's going e85 next month anyway and they're retuning. Just didn't want to switch if the car was running like ***. Picked her up tonight and she runs great!

yeah dude those plugs are insanely fouled. get new plugs and if you're on the stock ignition system on your 8 id say run anywhere from 0.25-0.28 and see if you get any blowout. also, the plugs that you have are 1step colder plugs, id run the stock heatrange (bpr7es) i believe, and see how that goes for you, the catchcan, id leave that to the guys that know more about it ^, anyway, goodluck with your setup and lets us know what happens
