idle

idle

so i recently got my car tuned and we are loosing tons of power on top end. i have a built 2,4 ltr. 280 cams. ported head. using an fp red jb turbo. what could be the problem here
heres my dyno sheet

You can't expect more power at 7000 rpm on stroked motor.looks good to me

Yeah you're not really losing that much on top, and you're also using a smallish turbo so you can't really expect a ton on top anyways

I wouldn't say you're maxed out necessarily, but the FP red tends to fall on its face in higher rpm's with the 2.3's and 2.4's. Nothing to worry about really, just shift sooner

If you are in Denver CO that elevation will put a damper on your ability to make power compared to the lower-to-sea-level places.

so i should be happy with this for now and get a new setup, maybe a 6266 or borg s366

I would have fun with it until you decide to go bigger. I will also be doing a TS 6266 with an FiTtonic setup on my 2.3. Should be fun, but until then I'll enjoy my EF4

very nice. but doesnt 6266 takes a min to spool up

With a 2.3 or 2.4 and twin scroll it should spoil before 5k easy

If you get a good tune and a twin scroll setup you should probably see spool around 4500 give or take. That's what I've seen on here anyways
