Can EGR delete be done with the head on?

Yes bc egr port you want to plug is on the intake manifold. Which way you wanna do it? Standart or from the exhaust port side ?

Doesn't the block off plate go on the back of the IM near the throttle body?

I didnt know there was 2 ways to block it.

Yes it does that's why you don't have to worry about taking the head off.

yes, a block off plate or you can tap/plug the hole in the head that lets the exhaust go into the intake mani. some of us prefer that route as it keeps some heat out of the IM. this obviously involves removing the IM, though, along with very careful vacuuming and use of grease to catch the shavings (unless the head is off the car).

all you need is an 1/8" NPT plug, if i remember right, and a tap of the same size.
