I had a tree snap and landed on my roof/windshield.
How much is a used/new aluminum hood + labor roughly?

Such bad luck lately, hit a deer now this.

 

geezus dude, are you sure its just the roof?
i think a lot of insurance companies will total loss that.
depending on the shop, i've seen anywhere from 1000-2500 just for labor. (when i was interested in getting the ams CF roof)
the aluminum roofs are tough to come by or so when i was looking.

Im not sure how much more a Carbon roof is i don't think much you may want to go that route

 

Sounds like you should have had full coverage on the car...

Bad luck regardless, I'd expect a number of thousands of dollars to replace it though

 

$2,800 at topstage for an Evo 6 CF roof look them up, there may be pillar damage also so it's probably not a DIY job.

 

It is kind of hard to see the damage with the tree in the way but I'd think a flat easy to get to panel like the roof would be pretty easy to pound out. So, knock the dent out, body putty and paint. How much it would cost, well that is called an estimate, available at any body shop.

 

Can the aluminum roof be panel beaten smooth without putty?
