Evo 8 A/C Compressor spinning and cold lines, no cold air

My A/C Compressor is spinning no problem and the low pressure line is ice cold, but there's still no cold air coming out of the vents.

Any ideas?

EDIT WITH FIX

The Blend door gear under the dash near the pedals somehow jumped teeth so when I was on "cold" it was really more of a 60heat/40cold situation.

Take the 2 screws out of the mechanisms that attach to the heat control knob and you can freely spin the gear and reset the position to realign the blend door with the corresponding temperature on the knob.

Tighten the spinning/lever mechanism back down afterwards.

All fuses related to A/C and HVAC look good as well.

Any ideas?

You mean is it actually blowing air?

If so, yes its blowing ambient temperature air, and if I turn to heat, it blows hot air no problem

Around 65 degrees today,

low pressure side was 25 psi,

high pressure side was 250 psi... This seems really high i think

Theres your problem. I would suggest starting with airflow. Check condensor coil make sure its clean etc.

Check your cabin filter if you have one. Other than that, your evaporator core maybe clogged with dirt/debris.

Unsure where the coil is. Anyone have a diagram?

I'll check the filter tonight.

I took some of the r134a out of the system and the pressure went down to 25 psi - 125 psi

The condenser is located at the front of the car between the intercooler and the radiator.

The expansion valve is where the liquid line connects at the firewall.

Here's another symptom:

When I started the car this morning, the AC blew nice and cold. By the time I let the car warm up to get out of the driveway, it was blowing warm air.

Now I'm thinking maybe the air gap is too wide and the clutch isn't engaging once the car warms up and gets out of reach of the magnetic field.

Would the compressor still yield a pressure differential between the high and low side of the AC if this was the case?

It is easy to tell if the clutch is engaging. The pulley on the outside spins anytime the engine is running. The center of the pulley only spins when the clutch is engaged. In typical operation the clutch cycles.

If the car is from a warm part of the country clutch life is 100K, maybe less.

If the clutch isn't engaging there's your problem. Otherwise I'd suggest taking the vehicle to a mechanic that knows A/C and spending the $100 to get a diagnosis. BTW, all the inside goodies are under the dash and to get there the dash comes out first.
