painting motor parts

So i have the motor out of my car. Since everything is apart I'm thinking of painting some of the Engine stuff. Such as Thermostat housing, Water pipe, Rad Brackets. Has any one painted any of this stuff or am i just wasting my time?

Definitely +1 on the powder coating , I just got some intercooler pipes done as well as my stock strut bar, much cleaner looking

Worst thing buying a car and looking under the bonnet and seeing components hand painted, if you are going to tinker do it like a pro and it'll look great

I did a few of my parts when I had my 4g63 apart back in the day and they came out pretty good. Just make sure it's the high temp paint and make sure you bake them if it will allow. But like everyone else said you can have them powder coated pretty cheap these days.
