Evo 8 diff blown - Help required

hi, just wondering if someone can point me to the right direction here as i blew my evo 8 rear diff last weekend.

I did think about going for the Rs setup but not worth it for me.

Wondering if a Evo 7 diff would work fine with the evo 8? Are the ratios and casing all the same?

Pic of the damage

This forum is very much EVO8/9 & 10. The EVO 7 is very similar to ours but I would feel better posting this up on the MLR forum

Here: http://www.lancerregister.com/index.php

Many more less than EVO8 owners there
