broken 02 dump

I was driving home the other day, enjoying some rare sunshine in Washington State. When I heard a loud thunk and some metallic clanging from under the car. I pulled over immediately to investigate, and could find nothing amiss. No sounds, no fluids, nothing. I open the hood only to discover the dump pipe on my TOXICFAB 02 dump was missing. I walked back and found the pipe, and it seems that the welds just broke. Has anyone else had this issue with TOXICFAB? The welds looked tidy, but seemed to have very little material on the manifold itself.

I would contact them, I think they guarantee their work.

By looking at that, there is no other support?
Fatigue will break the pipe eventually from vibrations IMO.

That's some crazy metal fatigue there. Was there a support bracket of some kind? That length of pipe may have been perfectly tuned to your engine vibrations and over time....snap!

I think any pipe of this nature will break off if not supported down stream. There is simply too much heat and vibration will eventually kill it.

True story, my Toxicfab dump fractured shortly after the support between the main exhaust pipe and the dump tube (Toxic symbol) broke. I can see in the OP's picture the bottom portion of the support is missing, just like mine.

Same thing happened to me with jmfab and with my luck it punctured my radiator as well. I sent it back and they fixed it for me.
