2005 Evo 8 MR w/ 10k miles
For the last 5 1/2 years I have daily'd my car. 4 of those years I put 16k miles on it. 10 years and 10k is very doable. I live a mile from work and when we go out of town on trips we use a vehicle with cruise control and auto. I used to live 6 miles from work. Point is that argument is invalid.
With that being, $25k seems about right but I personally wouldn't pay more than $21-22k. As great of a car it is, it's still an 11 year old mitsubishi econobox.

the first year and a half to two, that was my commute man lol. I went from 69k miles to 100k in the blink of an eye. Then I got a new job, then another new job, then moved close to my job haha. My evo now sits in the garage and I drive it like once a week, so 3 miles lol.
Some of you guys should consider just getting a second car if you really want to keep miles off your Evo. I always hear people say well then I have to insure two cars but it might be cheaper to insure something else as primary and have the Evo on your policy as a limited milage pleasure vehicle.

Overall, I do it for convenience. I'd rather maintain the Civic on a regular basis than the Evo.

Whenever I hear people talk about evos with 20k or bellow miles I find it hard to believe. You do realize changing the odometer is super easy right? Let's be real here people, there's no one in there right mind that's going to purchase a car and only run 10k miles within the 10 year life time. You would have to garage it ( which cost money), insure it or not, register, and any other cost associated. Any car with super low mileage ( old cars like ours anyway) I would naturally assume the odometer has been altered.
My friend who has a 04 evo sold his for $20k. Sadly, he changed the odometer to say it had 60k miles when in reality he and I both knew it was more like in the 200k miles mark. I myself have been cheated many times when buying a car. I bought an evo 3 years ago ( not the one i have now) And I got tricked. The dash didn't have any check engine light on- until I was halfway home. He said there was no prior accidents but when i took it home and checked, there were noticeable wavy lines in the paint around the quarter panel.
what I am saying is there's a lot of scammers out there. The likeliness of it being cheated is much more so than one with super low mileage.

I disagree that there aren't any low mileage evo's. Just for example, my dad. He was crazy enough to buy a '94 Trans Am new. It currently has 8,000ish miles. If something could potentially be a collector's item, someone will buy it and keep it in pristine condition. It's just too bad his wasn't a hit. It's worth about what he paid for it.
Mine in this case was indeed a true 23k car when I bought it , carfax showed all the documents and how many miles were put on each year , and your right the odometer is super easy to swap but being I have documentation I feel mines legit, dude was and older guy worked 7 days at a pizza shop for over 10 hours a day, not quite a good life but garage kept the car also
I bought my IX GSR with a little over 46k on it, have owned it for 5 months and it has a little over 48k on it. I live a few miles from work and with summer around the corner the Evo will see less and less daily use as I ride my motorcycle pretty much every day.
Hoping to be able to pick up a nice daily by next winter to preserve the mileage even more.
They are out there (46k is not 10k, but still lower than the majority), you just have to be patient and be willing to pay a premium for them.
