AEM UEGO noise over speaker
Hi guys. So I recently installed a UEGO and have a constant whining noise coming from the speakers. Besides having an aftermarket stereo and boost gauge, everything electrical is stock.
I tried tapping into the radio harness for power, I tried fuse taps and running through the ignition fuse, the cigarette lighter fuse, I tried grounding direct to battery, grounding to a ground which doesn't have other grounds and cannot figure this out.
Any tips/pointers?

yes double check your ground to your radio , either its not a solid ground or where ever you have it may not be bare metal , anything of that nature double check it. Also with an AEM wideband you need to have your gauge hooked up to a source that's constant thru cranking of the engine. But I think the whole thing my be coincidence
I completely removed the radio and it's adapter harness, but despite this I'm still getting the feedback. I think I've isolated it to being an issue with power since I grounded the uego to the - battery terminal and it still makes noise. Is there a particular fuse I can tap into in the engine bay fusebox?
I forgot to mention this, but I've also got an alarm/remote start system installed, so that might be interfering somehow

I have the exact same problem over here! The noise is only there when my UEGO is on. When I turn my radio on, I can also hear it over the speakers before I turn the music up.
I have a viper alarm system installed as well as a 4 channel amplifier,
I am using my fuse box to power all three of my gauges. Cigarette lighter for ACC and door lock fuse for constant 12v.
All grounded at the same point as the alarm.
I want to say that the noise is coming from the heating circuit of the o2 sensor, but I don't know why. You can have the gauge on and have the o2 sensor unplugged and the noise will go away. Once you plug it back in it comes back.
It's an annoying high pitch whine just as you described.

Ok, just ordered an Electronic Noise Suppression Filter. Will report back to let you know if it changed anything.

Also, apparently this is a common problem with AEM widebands, it's all over the web. I didn't know that until today.

^ lemme know how that goes. I'm actually contemplating getting a switch installed next to the gauge dimmer and just go direct to battery for +/-
I gotta check the dimensions of the dimmer and see if this is a direct replacement for those w/o the ic spray button

Not bad at all! It looks good.
I went ahead and installed the noise suppressor. It took away about 90% of the sound that was coming from the gauge when my stereo is off, but I can still hear it when I turn the speakers on.
Already did the work so i'm just going to leave it as is, but I don't think I would call this a solution.
I'll worry about it another time lol.
