Talking Victory

I would just like to tell everyone that I have won my case with to get them to buy my Evo back and replace it. If you have seen my thread unf**kingbelievable you know the amount of B.S. I have been through with this car, if you haven't I'll sum it up. Alot. I also wanted to thank the people of this forum for all the technical data they have made available here, their ideas as to what the problem may be, and just giving me a chance to . Thanks

That is awesome. I have 20K miles and no problems to speak of (knock on wood). I hope that the same is true for you and you'll be singing the praises of your car in no time.

After meeting my states lemon law criteria, I summited a compliant to the N.C.D.S. Which is what got mits. going in the direction of a buy back. My service manager agreed with me totally that the car was not fixed the problem had just gone "underground". After pestering everyone I could between N.C.D.S. and Mits. corporate, Mits. finally decided to buy the car back without going to arbitration. For more info read the thread titled "unf**kingbelievable" it's all in there.

Good luck.

Does the dealer take that one in the chops?

I thought I remembered the selling dealer writes the check..
I could be wrong, though.

good good good. So maybe mits (corporate) is not beezlebub after all. Just wondering, after your experiences with the first one, are you going to do anything differently with this new one? i.e. break it in differently, drive differently, etc. congrats, BTW.

Thanks, no I'm not doing anything differently. I firmly believe that this was a "freak" thing and will not happen again. I might get the occasional misfire like alot of other people on here but, I don't think that problem will happen again. I followed Mits. directions for break in and I'll do that again. As far as driving I have been pretty easy on the old car( warm up, cool down, don't live at the red line,no launches, etc...) and I'll drive this one the same. Spirited but smartly.
