How do u know when your clutch is about to go?

what kind of things happen, how do u know when its about to go?

here's the best test, find a hill, bridge, anything with a pretty good incline, get going a bit and get into fifth and floor it.

When you let the clutch all the way out...step on the gas and your tach goes up pretty fast and your car barely moves

what he said... and after it shoots up it usually drops back down

see above. your revs will rise but you wont be moving as much. I used the bridge/hill idea because putting more load on the car will make it more evident.

Is there any earlier signs to look out for before the obvious RPM rise and car barely moving besides inspecting the clutch itself?

You will be launching against a Honda and your car will slowly roll forward as you perform your 5500rpm clutch drop. Then you will know it is time for a clutch change.

If your revs increase but your car does not accelerate linearly with that rev increase, your clutch is letting go.
