Huh? Run a wire to your wideband? Why would you need to do this?

Hey, I had a similar issue, it was actually a mix of issues simultaneously, first was the wiring harness to the crank sensor got heated since it was exposed by the oil leaking from the valve cover, then it was the cam sensor both the sensor and the harness, if your harness is relatively new, it will most likely be your sensor

I would check the tune first as well

I am unsure if its supposed to hold solid pressure for a while or if its designed to bleed off. I have tried sourcing all fuel leaks and I cannot find anything.

OK old post revival.........
If you do the exact same test on an unmodified, unmolested car, it'll read 33 PSI on startup.
While it's idling , pull off the vac line from the FPR, the pressure will go up to 43 PSI.
Refit the vac line it goes back down to 33 PSI.
Shut the engine off while idling, vac line off, it should hold 43 PSI for days if not weeks.

That's a good starting point.

Loss of pressure means a leak, usually at the FPR if it's a cheap nasty aftermarket one.
Otherwise a leak at the pump (also if it's aftermarket).

Wrong pressure means the same.......as in a fault at the pump or a fault at the FPR or just wrong parts used.

The cam position sensor connects to a harness but that is part of the main engine harness or am I mistaken?

Could you elaborate? I am having a no start issue too.

transfer case oil light

so i tried to start the car this morning and the same results..
there was a loud but quick grinding noise and the car tuned over like it wanted to start but the evo wouldnt idle at all. the oil light cam on.
before this i replaced the alternator and lost alot of transfer case fluid because i took off the passenger side wheel and trans axle to get to the alternator.

MY QUESTION IS would low oil in the transfer case cause this no start issue ? and if so whats a good replacement oil.

im going to the parts store today to grab some mass air flow cleaner.. would brake clean parts cleaner work just as good as the mass air flow just curious.

the car will let you drive around with 0 oil in the transfer case and melt it down. It has no effect on the engines ability to turn over and start. As far as replacement fluid, can't go wrong with OEM Diaqueen. Do you have any way of monitoring engine oil pressure?
