Does anyone know if the Evo 8/9 AC system differs in anyway? I bought a AC system off someone and the high line I believe (bigger pipe) doesn't fit into the firewall spot. It's like it's the same size and won't slide over. This is all I need to install in order to get the AC working on my car.

 

Compared the part no. for the suction pipe as noted in the diag. The part no.s match between the 8 & 9. Mitsu part no. 7815A140

Obviously there is some issue w/the connection point as youve noted

Oh I see what I did. I had the bigger line on the pass side and the smaller on the driver side. In that picture it looks like I had it the wrong way. That makes sense. Whoops lol.
