What do you think?

So olive decided to mod my car. I have an 06 MR. I've been in touch with a local tuner and I told him I wanted the basic bolt ons, and this is what he suggested.

Walbro 255LPH high pressure fuel pump
Plug and play boost control solenoid
MXP 3" down pipe
HKS TI Carbon exhaust
Tune

What do you guys think? Am I missing anything?

Left out an intake. ETS makes a nice one. Also a test pipe. But this will depend on how Hawaii does ther inspections for emissions/smog equipment. If you're staying on pump gas, you don't need injectors.

Nice to see a fellow Evo owner in HI! No smog inspection in HI so no worry there. I'd suggest a 3" downpipe with an external dump hooked up to a 3" turbo back exhaust or your choice. ETS intakes are really nice. The Walbro 255 and electronic BCS is a must along with Tephra V7 for your ECU. Just out of curiosity, who is tuning your car?

Nice! I'm in Kalihi valley too! Let me know when you get home. I know of only one other soon-to-be Evo owner at the moment.

As for simple and reliable, a cam upgrade and an FP Green or Red along with the supporting mods should make for a fun street car. I have the OG FP green with cams and it's enough, especially for out slow *** speed limits.

Maybe add the LICP upgrade for a tweak, think seriously about E85, injectors and cams, might be better to do it all at one time for a better deal then learn to do your own tuning, make sure you know what software he is using, maybe a dual tune, if you have the extra clams go the BB fp red, if that's your next step plan your mods to take a bigger blower

cams and turbo are NOT simple mods. Stick with your tuner suggested list and replace the cat with the test pipe and enjoy it for a while. The rest won't make much different and don't really needed until you step up to cams and turbo which are not simple mods.
