heads up for gates racing timing belt owners
il have to make a review on it after about 6 months of driving to let everyone know how much was really needed and what was not needed. seems people overlook some engines come without hydraulic tensioners for their belts and those setups last 100k easily.
I kind of think that the factory torque spec is a bit weak. red Loctite is a good idiea. but personally im not gonna lie, when I did my cams and timing belts. I only torqued the cam cap, cam sprocket, I tightened everything else by feel but that's because of my experience wrenching. I only used the Loctite on the camspocket bolts and waterpump pulley bolts. I comfortable with everything else the way I did it.
