Hyper Ground Wires
Hyper Ground Wires
Hey all
Have any of you made use supplemental ground wires in your cars? The "Hyper Ground" system from Sun Automotive, or the HKS offering are examples.
It's a lot more cost effective to make your own with 4 gauge wire, but I wanted to see if anyone here had installed something similar in their cars, and what the results were.
Thanks!

I installed my own kit and noticed better idle, smoother acceleration, and brighter headlights. I could also swear that my stereo sounded cleaner but that could be placebo effect.
I also, sell these kits and they're considerably cheaper than any other kit on the market...PM me if you're interested. You can also check my traider rating for reviews from other customers that have bought these kits.

idle seems a little smoother, headlights don't dim as much, looks pretty cool
The one bolt on the back of the block was a pain in the *** to get to. Make sure you have an open ended wrench (12mm I think).

I bought a cheep set ($35) on Ebay......they looked like s**t, and you could tell that the connectors were cheep crimp-ons. I ended up getting the HKS ($130) which were much better quality and looked a lot better. The biggest difference I noticed was less static on the radio when going through tunnels or under power lines.........
