Hey guys and gals, my IAC went out and I'm looking to buy one but dealer want 400+ dollars. I'm looking online and there are tons of them:-( and there really cheep. I kinda believe you pay for what you get. Just wanting to know if anybody has good idea of place or brand to look for. Thank you. Dirty D

 

What you found out and what you think are in line with every other thread on this topic. I will say this, I have tried the ebay offering for 30.00 and while it idles a little high at start and is a little slower to adjust--it works fine. Maybe it will allow you enough room to find a used one or justify the 400.00 for new.

 

Check your local junkyard for used ones. They can be found in a variety of Mitsubishi/Chrysler vehicles. I'd trust a used one over a non-OEM IACV due to the horror stories I've read with those ebay/Amazon ones.

Ok guys and gals I got new iac from Napa I was lucky cause my buddy works there and saved 100 bucks on the part. It cost me 223 instead of 306. And it worked right out of the box. Thank you for head up on eBay and Amazon parts. Only way to go for some stuff.
