About to buy an Evo 9 MR, what should I look out for?

Hey guys, so im about to buy an 06 white evo 9 MR, 6spd. It has about 93,000 miles on it, just intake/downpipe/test pipe/exhaust. Has fortune 500 coilovers. Its tuned with 320whp/310wtq at RS Motors in burnsville, MN mustang dyno. only issues is the ACD is out, the three lights tarmac/gravel/snow are all on. and the a/c work very weak. It just had a new exedy stage 1 clutch installed along with all seals and gaskets. all done by RS motors 4 months ago. which is nice. It runs good, tranny is smooth and buttery, no weird noises. Is there something I should look out for? should I be super worried about the three lights?, is it an easy fix? brembo brake caliper paint is very faded, is this normal? what else should I look out for?

You should invest a couple hundred dollars and have a P.P.I. (Pre-purchase inspection) performed by a qualified 3rd party shop and leave nothing to chance.

How much is the asking price, clean title, acd lights might mean the pump is internally corroded, I highly doubt the actual acd unit (clutch packs in the tcase) go bad on these cars, i dont think its common, so its most likely a pump

If the paint on the Brembos is all corroded it was probably brake fluid from when the calipers were changed. I've seen so many people do brake flushes and forget to wipe up any fluid, DOT fluid eats paint. If it's just faded that could be a lot of things. If you winter drive a car with painted calipers where I live you'll be lucky to keep a vibrant red colour through one winter.

An ACD pump replacement is easily 2k+. Not sure how much or who offers rebuild kits for it. Brembo fade is pretty common. Mine started peeling at 20k miles so i just had them powder coated.

i'd talk him down from that price if the ACD is throwing three lights though

The PPI will definitely reveal quite a bit that the owner may not even know about. When I purchased my EVO 8 last year, there was some T-Case leaking, which I opted for a Stage 1 Shep T-Case. She needed a new oil pan, maintenance here and there.
The car otherwise needed some TLC, I wasn't afraid to show her some love. Some set backs here and there but I love my car, I have no doubt that you will as well!
