Hello everyone. Been battling an annoying problem for awhile and trying to figure it out. I have a 1G DSM with an Evo 8 ECU. I'm using the 9653 Tephro Mods ROM. How do I delete ALL CEL's?

I cleared them once via EVOscan. Now if I check my codes, there are none. But the CEL still remains on. I want to be able to use the CEL on Knock feature but with the CEL always on, it prevents me from doing so.

What is causing the cel is it because of a problem or because you are running a 1gdsm with an evo 8 ecu is there a specific code with the cel ?

 

If you dont have any codes then I dont understand why your CEL would still be on? But FWIW you can still have your CEL flash with your car having a CEL. It will do just that, flash instead of staying solid the whole time.
