Can u remove the CEL for EGR

Can u remove the CEL for EGR

If i delete the EGR bc im putting the JM fab intake manifold on my car does anyone know if there is way through ecu flash to delete the CEL. I live in NJ and this is all that is keeping me from buying the manifold

Interested as well. EGR causes the intake manni to become filthy after a while.
w/ removal of the EGR and addition of a catch can, my 1G DSM's intake was perfectly clean even after 50,XXX miles.

yes you can completley disable the EGR.. visit www.aktivematrix.com and get ready for a lot of reading.....

Not sure about disabling the EGR mechanism, but the EGR check is easily disabled with ECUFlash. See my thread on logging boost with the JDM MAP sensor. The setup instructions include an optional step to disable the EGR check.
