Would suggest posting in the Engine/turbo/drivetrain section. Very arguable subject, arguments and opinions will ensue.

Look up English Racing and Boostin Performance. I don't own either short block, but I know they make some of the best 2.0's around and have been proving them on the drag strip consistently for a long time. Just remember that if you are really in it for ultimate strength, you won't be looking at oem, eagle, or manley cranks anymore. You'll be looking at something like winberg cranks, which are in a different league.

Basically, There is no correct answer to your question, lots of great builders with reliable engines, BR being one of the very best, MAP, Tscomp builds great motors aswell, I do not trust local race shops, just my .02 cents

English builds solid motors. From what I've seen on here, TSComp seems to build reliable stuff as well.

There are some machine shops that have 4g63 experience where I live and I still wouldn't go to them

Good luck finding an aluminum motor.

Why 7-800+ whp?
Why LR?
Why 2.0?
Why ask this question when all the information you need is easily searchable on this forum?

the 4g63t doesn't have the aftermarket that domestic small blocks have so nobody is really making an aluminum version off the shelf. I do recall seeing an aluminum one being made on a CNC for a drag racing 2G but im sure thats crazy expensive and won't really work on anything that is going to be going further then 1/4 mile at a time. You don't really need it though, these engines are tiny and the weight savings isn't as dramatic as it is when going to an aluminum sbc for example. The iron block is also very durable, people are making insane power on the stock block.
