whats up guys iv been planning to install a riv limiter on my 2005 evo 8, i want a launch control but dont want to mess with the tune and ecu all that. just want to a launch control what is a good brand i can get?

Your ECU may already have the 2-step in place

It works something like this:

Set at 5k, tap the gas once, make sure the clutch is ALL the way to the floor, hit the gas 100% and it will bounce at 5k, building like 9.5 pounds on a stock ix.
IF you want anti-lag(a better launch control IMO) you need a reflash.

 

Also some launch controls require 1st gear be in place. Atleast mine does on 96530706 rom. Oh and also has to be standing still or it might just redline.

 

oh okay i see , whats a good 2 step i can get? is the bee R rev limiter a good launch control?

 

Why not have your tuner adjust the stock 2-step to whatever RPM you like?
