All fake, stay away from them and do not give your information. A good place to look is on Facebook, I've seen more parts and cars being sold through there than CL now. Depending on where you are, I'm assuming Denver, CO, there might be evo pages specific to that region (if its a popular area for evos) otherwise theres a lot of CA evo pages.
All these show up on my local Miami Craigslist listings lol. As said, all 100% fake.

if you want an evo with 50-80k in actual good solid cosmetic/running condition you need to budget $20k. It is rare to see someone spend less than around $18k and not wind up spending $3-5k in repairs or fixing poorly done stuff. it is very worthwhile to spend the money up front in an effort to save headaches later on.
i also highly recommend pursuing cars in the classifieds on here. it is very simple to learn a lot of history on a car buy what the owner has posted on the forums over the time of ownership

Lots of really good feedback has been provided here, well done folks!
Nothing screams scam more than listing an 04 yet providing pictures of an 06 in this ad:

I'd say Im in complete agreement with the Killerpenguin. Assuming they're in good shape and the miles are "lowish" I think you'll be closer to the 20k mark depending on the year. And to his point a car like an evo tends to get driven hard. Not everyone is so you might be able to find the diamond in the rough. But at the same time just because it was driven hard, it doesnt mean its a bad buy. That's where having intel on the previous owner what they did to it and how it was maintained is crucial to make an intelligent decision when it comes time to pull the trigger.

Pretty soon I will be looking to buy an evo 8/9, but I'm not sure what a reasonable budget for one is. I am looking for one with 60kish miles with no more than bolt ons. All of the evos for sale that I have seen are either fully built monsters that are far beyond my budget, shells, or unmodified super low mile collector cars.I have found a few ones on craigslist that fit what I'm looking for, but I'm pretty sure they're a scam. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm new to the forum. The cars in the craigslist ads are kind of whats within my budget and what I'm looking for. Is 13k-15k reasonable for an 8/9?

If you google the VINs they list (if they even bother), you will find them in multiple ads. They are bait cars that usually don't exist. Their goal is to lure you down there and sell you on "something similar".
