Anybody with a hood exit dump tube have an exhaust ring that will work with the hood mesh? I've been thinking about this for awhile, I think it would look much cleaner than just a sketchy hole in the mesh. Not sure how it would work as they primarily seem to be riveted into the body or something like that. Just thought it would be cool to try.



Something like this, but only one wastegate dump and compatible with the mesh.

 

You could easily make something yourself with some smaller gauge sheet metal. Use a piece on the bottom and another on the top and just rivet them together.

 

I feel like that's easier said than done. I've never worked with metal like that. May just give it a shot though.

 

I'm pretty sure Lowes or Home Depot can cut it for you. Then all you would have to do is cut a hole in it.
