Oil Pressure Gauge Help

Good Evening,

I just bought an Evo 8 about 6-7 weeks ago, I come mainly from a Mustang background so excuse much of my ignorance.

I am having the common issue on the Evo 8's where the oil light flashes when in neutral. I am ordering a new sensor tonight and a relocate kit for the new sensor so it doesn't go over time due to vibration.

In addition I want to add a Oil Pressure Gauge to my car. I am trying to figure out which one works with the Evo electrical or mechanical gauges. Please assist as I am a noob. Here is what i found on one site on the explanation

"Electric vs. Mechanical Gauges - Differences

Mechanical Gauges are full sweep (270’ of needle movement)
Electric Gauges are short sweep (90’-180’ of needle movement)
Mechanical Gauges must be connected by tubing to the engine bay
Electric Gauges take a measurement of a sensor installed in the engine bay"

I think it would be electrical for the evo 8, can someone please confirm I am looking to order this tonight

Or

Mechanical

I personally like the mechanical look better.
