So after months of deliberation, failed adventures, disappointment and the occasional burst of impatience, I can finally say I am part of the Evo family!
I picked up this 2006 Evo IX RS last night after a month of going back and forth with the owner.
Has 73XXX miles on the clock and is in pretty good shape. Needs some tender loving care, a good service, a polish and a few bits and pieces here and there.
I bought it as is with a failed ACD pump which lowered the price for me, and which I am willing to fork out the funds to replace. Nothing like a bit of adventure I say.
My intended use is a bit of daily use (very short commute) and get into some Time Attack racing and whatever else tickles my fancy.
Its great to be back in the seat of a Japanese turbo car, it has been awhile since I last got to play cars since moving to the US from Aus.
Looking forward to driving this bad boy and connecting with more of you!
Congratulations DecBro! These cars are adrenaline pumps so i'm sure you will have a blast. Before replacing the ACD pump entirely, you might be able to just get away with rebuilding it. Feeling adventurous?
