It cranks but dont start right when I stop backfire..Car was drivable then one cold rainy try to start it and nothing then cranks then backfire any ideas..

Sounds like a timing issue

 

I would start with the basics... check that you have enough fuel pressure, bad pump could still push fuel but not build enough pressure and the car will not start. And make sure you have spark.

Seeing how its backfiring sounds like you may have too much fuel or not have spark all the time because of a bad sensor or for other issues could be causing this

sounds like timing, when was the last time you had your timing belt done? take the upper timing cover off get engine on tdc check the timing marks, and wile you turn the engine inspect the timing belt
