Extreme tuners ...again
And anyway, why do you think he is obliged to come there, no matter if expenses are covered or not? People didn't accept the world record on Greek soil claiming various excuses, you wanted a nhra strip, he went to Malta, he bettered it, end of story.

On one of the older threads I pointed out that to get that car here with the crew etc. was north of $20k when you factor in insurance, shipping cost, flights etc. etc.. The famous "shoe box" of cash pic from the shoot out wasn't that and while I'll give Dave the benefit of the doubt, I find it hard to believe any shop would put up $20k when there would be no way of getting back that money from this venture.
Still a **** company full of shady practices. Fast car or no fast car I wouldnt give them the time of day when it comes to ordering parts. And at the end of the day thats what all this is about. Anyone ever remember the U.S extreme tooners build? Exactly.....
Couple things:
#1 it isn't a CHRA. That's the compressor wheel, which is painted black or photoshopped, there isn't such a thing as a Kevlar compressor wheel, as the blades would be much too thick and brittle. The CHRA is the center housing rotating assembly, which contains the bearings. If Extreme Tunas could make a carbon compressor wheel, you'd have seen one by now from Garrett or the others.
#2 I cannot believe these clowns are still getting credit. Their company has scammed multiple people out of thousands and thousands of dollars. They are good at photishop... that's it.
#3 If all they're doing is an 8.3 with the claimed 2000hp, they need lessons elsewhere.

Can you call one person that lost money and prove it? It will be interesting.
No, they've not done 8,3, they've done 7.88 at Malta (previous also his, 7.9), new world record, with 1700hp. When he raised the boost to where it makes the claimed 2100hp, he broke 5 diffs and one propshaft. Next time he will run 7.5-7.6.
