My car was stolen last night!!!

Hi guys!

My car was parked in Chinatown, Chicago on S. China Place right by Walgreen last night and it was stolen at 11:27pm. If anyone see a R333434 Evo 9 Graphic Grey car on the street, please notify me. My Evo 9 was pretty much all stock.

Sorry to hear, IL and FL seem to be the hotspot for stolen Evos, don't think anyone has ever gotten one back yet. Not that they have posted back up about anyway.

Thieves are the scum of the earth.

Damn. Did you leave it parked there overnight? Was it legally parked? Good amount of tow zones in that area.... Anyway. Hope everything works out.

Hope you find it, or at least get a fair insurance payout. Should consider LoJack for your next car. Lots of desperate people in/around Chicago.

Sorry to hear that man. How were they able to start it? Evos have a transponder that won't let it start without the key. There is a chip in the key that allows it to start. If it's a high tow zone might want to call tow yards around that area.

Right...either somebody got your key somehow, or somebody put that thing on a rollback...

This is the second Evolution I have heard of being stolen in the last month. The other one was a Red one in Orlando.

Have you checked with local PD, towing agencies usually have to report towed vehicles. g'luck recovering it. Looks like a clean evo, should stand out pretty well if anyone is keeping an eye out

Unfortunately with the advances the EVO has had with stock ECU patching and mapping availability with a spare ECU or a flash cable it's honestly a piece of cake. Like a 2 min piece of cake.

Layer the security people layer upon layer, still won't stop a good thief but it will slow them and in the stolen car world that could mean the difference of a busted window and a couple fixed wires or your car gone forever
