question with turbo noise
this may come across as a dumb question, but whats that noise that I hear with my evo when I release the accelerator completely at around 3.5k revs, it sounds awesome!

Diverter valve or BOV depending on which one your Evo has

I have a custom 3" exhaust with 3 inch stainless steel twin dump pipe , made from 2.2mm thick seamless ss304 stainless steel

You're not going to hear a wastegate dump when off throttle on decel
