Valve cover job gone wrong
So... A friend of mine decided to get his valve cover done at a local shop.
They tried to weld a steel bung to the valve cover

Lol, jesus...there are press in -10 fittings that will go in the stock location. Then you simply just bore out the other to accommodate a -10 thread in fitting and you're done. The valve cover is magnesium.......
Good news though, i have a valve cover i can sell you..lol

I really don't know why they welded a bung.
My friend had his dip stick pop after building his motor. So he wanted to enlarge the openings in the valve cover and run a catch can.
I told him to follow the DIY on evom and to do it properly. Except, he wanted to cheap out and spend peanuts at a shop that is known to **** up anything they touch. Well, he is now shopping for a valve cover hahaha
