Wow dont see how the nozzle coulda gotten loose then again I threaded mine into the ic pipe as well. Glad it wasn't too bad though and as everyone always states failsafe's are the only way to go with alky if not a lot can go wrong.

Spooledyou,

Sorry to hear that bro.. I changed my nozzles a couple of times and even they were tight they were leaking(dripping methanol when spraying). Yeah, I agree, make sure everything is 100%.

Please give us more follow up on this as you fix the car. Good luck!

No failsafe could had prevent this incident. This is a unique failure due to human error of metal fatigue. The only arguable thing here is that perhaps an audial or visual warning signal(water/alcoholflow gauge, or LED lit) would had warned the driver of a malfuntion.

The way these nozle are located and installed there is no margin for error, the noozle would be sucked in into the TB and there is nothing you can do abaout it unless you use a nozzle like the NOS nozzles which can be screwed into the manifold via thread.

nah sticking 2.0.. no need for a strocker for me.....

to me a strocker is nice... but for what im going for a 2.0 in MY case is better sutied..... and i also dont feel like spending 4kPlus on a stroker kit and machine work.

^^^ I don't blame you bro. I installed mine with additional harneded hardware from Ace-hardware. I put stronger washers and much stronger rubber seals.

Pariculary speaking, those HAGO nozzles are like butter, they stripp very easily and the metal is very very soft. Be aware guys!

Correct on the First Part....This was a little of both... Human and Machine! to me though i dont see a point to get mad or point fingers. I think it just happend what you going to do about it ...

Your 100% on the second part as well.. Apsolutely nothing that could have been done...... Unless i was Super man and I Jump into the Throttle Body After I Hear the Nozzle break lose with my super sonic hear!
