just curious what every one else has In there cars.

 

stock with a head unit and a small 8" shallow sub under the passenger seat

anything more is mostly a waste in these cars.

 

Just a head unit and aftermarket door speakers that are a tad lighter than their OEM replacements, sounds like ***, don't care. Ha

 

I have an SSL with factory infinity stereo and subwoofer in the trunk, so I just upgraded the head unit. The "meh" stock stereo is enough to make **** rattle, so no point to upgrade.

 

My RS has the exact opposite. No Sound, No Sun & No Leather

Currently rockin a 7 watt Pioneer w/a 2 door speaker system

 

My car no longer has leather. Traded for 9 seats about a year after I got the car. The leather sucked.

 

Kenwood head unit, FR speakers and RR speakers upgraded to just 3 way.
2 8" shallow subs under the seats with kenwood amp.

Rocks pretty good, not over doing it.

 

Pioneer head unit, Alpine Type R Components w/crossovers up front, Alpine Type R Coaxials in the rear. 1800 watt Crunch Audio Watt Amp bolted to the area behind the rear seats. Dynamat in the front doors and rear deck. Why? Because that's what it took to hear clear, quality, sound in a car that has it's own symphony of drivetrain noises haha.

I used to also have two 12" subs MBquarts powered by another Crunch 1000 watt amp with 1 farad capacitor, then I realized that i was driving an Evo so I smacked myself in the face, took them out, and sold them. I don't have this silly setup anymore just the interior speakers with one 1 amp. It wasn't for me.
