Need suggestions for a new BOV

OK, so it's been a gazillion years since I've posted. but My greddy type S BOV is finally biting the bullet. The middle of the top where the adjustment screw is stripped, so It started leaking boost. I know, I can take it to a machine shop, and they can fill, and redo the hole with new threads, but I figure I'd just get a new BOV.... but they don't make the Type S any more. I've been running a stock BOV (thank god I kept it for years). Keep in mind, that I have 150k on the evo, and I rarely drive it anymore, so I'm not looking for $500 BOV, just one to basically replace the Type S. obviously, I still have the flange on the old one as well, so In theory, I can reuse it?

You can always run a 9/10 BOV. I run the turbosmart recirc valve. Have on a couple cars and it has been reliable.

I agree stock Evo 9/10 BOV are great. My second choice would be the Synapse DV or Tial QR.

If you're running less than 26psi of boost, no reason to run anything other than a stock BOV.

I went through this same thing many years ago when tracking at about that level: not a lot of great options. If you can find a used APS twin vent that is another good one they don't make anymore. It vents partially back and to atmosphere which really helps in all the various situations at the track.
