I may have accidentally dropped the end of my transfer case as I was getting it out, and the lip where the drive shaft seal goes in broke... I can't find this part anywhere without them wanting me to buy the whole transfer case. Does anyone know where I can find this? It's the tail end of the transfer case that's held on by 4 bolts. Or does anyone have one laying around that I can buy off you?

 

The name for that piece is extension housing. I think the rebuilders should have piles of these. Every junk TC they receive should still have this part good - might need a new bushing.

 

Awesome thanks for the correct name it will help me find it easier. As far as the rebuilders, I already contacted shep trans and they stated that they can't sell me the piece unless I get a rebuild with them. Also tried emailing TRE but their new site seems to only have an email option for build quotes. Not sure who else to try
