EGR Removal Help :/

I read and followed steps on here to do the egr delete. Removed the valve, added the block off plate and capped everything that needed to be capped. Check engine is on (of course). But it runs like complete crap when I'm boosting. It spools a lot slower. And when it's on high boost, it feels as if it clogs and then spools again. (It's really forcing itself to keep going) I haven't flashed it yet to disable it on the ecu. *Will be getting it done soon*. But will the flash work? And fix my problem?

It shouldnt really change the performance of the car. Did you change the gasket? Check for boost leaks.

my friend will be flashing it soon. I don't have the proper knowledge how to do that and I don't wanna mess anything up even more. I was just wondering/hoping this was a common issue and flashing it would fix it

JESUS CHRIST.

Looking at the pictures closely I noticed you removed the hoses from the fuel pressure regulator solenoid.

That's the wrong solenoid to be ****ing with. Your going to grenade the thing.

Post pictures of the fuel pressure regulator.

Is there even a vaccum line on the regulator?

It used to go from that solenoid on the manifold to the fpr.

Re plumb the FPR solenoid which is the one on the top passenger side. That needs to be left alone.

The EGR solenoid is the one behind the intake manifold in the picture.

So do you have a vaccum line running to the fuel pressure regulator?

This right?
There's nothing to plug a vacuum line too though

It looks like one runs to the fuel rail and the other runs to a nipple on the intake manifold ?

Ok your good. I thought didn't run vaccum to it. But now I see you just ran it directly to manifold.

My bad.

Do you have a wideband 02?
