Thought this might be an interesting article. A guy in AU recently died due to the faulty airbag which lit up a few articles to come out of it.

Is it the same fault that the replaced ones had? I don't remember what the issue was with the Takata airbags.

The airbag ignitors are aluminum and over time, exposed to humidity or water, corrode, producing small amounts of aluminum powder.
